1. Introduction
Welcome to Just Taintless LLC. These terms and conditions govern the provision of cleaning services by our company in Connecticut.
2. Definitions
- “Company” refers to Just Taintless LLC.
- “Client” refers to the individual or entity booking and utilizing the services provided by the Company.
- “Services” refer to the cleaning tasks agreed upon between the Company and the Client.
3. Booking and Service Scope
- Booking: Clients can book services exclusively via the Company’s website. All bookings are subject to availability.
- Service Scope: Just Taintless LLC agrees to provide cleaning services as detailed in the service agreement or quote. Services include but are not limited to: residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, etc.
- Service Limitations:
- The Company will not clean areas over 6 feet in height.
- The Company will not move furniture unless specifically requested by the client. The company is not responsible for any damage to floors, furniture, or items moved upon request.
- The Company will not remove items from shelves to be dusted. Clients are responsible for moving items off shelves and out of the cleaners’ way.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse to clean items deemed difficult or delicate.
- The Company will not perform or fold laundry unless this service has been agreed upon in advance for an additional fee.
- The Company does not guarantee a completely dust-free or dirt-free home after cleaning, as hidden areas or ongoing dust accumulation may still be present.
- Walkthroughs: A walkthrough is conducted only for first-time clients at the end of their initial service. No walkthroughs will be performed after recurring cleanings. If a walkthrough is performed and the client confirms satisfaction, they relinquish their rights to the worry-free guarantee policy, as concerns should have been expressed and addressed immediately during the walkthrough. If, for any reason, a concern is not resolved on the spot, the client may submit a formal complaint to contact@justtaintless.com, where the team will review the issue to determine if it falls within the scope of the service agreement or the selected cleaning service plan.
- Pets: Clients with pets must keep them in a secluded area during cleaning. Complete removal of pet fur cannot be guaranteed.
- Light Fixtures: The Company will not clean light fixtures. Any lights or chandeliers will not be touched to prevent the risk of breakage.
- Surface and Stain Limitations: Just Taintless LLC may not be able to restore all surfaces, furniture, or appliances to their initial purchase state. Additionally, stubborn stains or dirt on flooring such as tiles (grout), wood, and carpets are not the Company’s responsibility. Clients should hire professionals specialized in these areas for specific cleaning needs.
- Outdoor Window Cleaning: Outdoor window cleaning is not included in Just Taintless LLC’s services.
4. Dispute Resolution
- Client Responsibilities: In the event of any disputes or unsatisfactory service, the Client agrees to provide before and after pictures of the affected areas with timestamps within 24 hours after the scheduled clean. The Client shall allow Just Taintless LLC a reasonable time to investigate such claims.
- Re-clean: If the claim is deemed fair upon investigation, Just Taintless LLC will perform a re-clean of the affected areas free of charge.
- Company Judgment: If Just Taintless LLC determines that the claim is not valid, the Client agrees to accept the Company’s judgment.
- Final Dispute Resolution Policy: If a dispute is resolved and the client continues to contest it, legal action cannot be pursued against Just Taintless LLC.
5. Client Conduct
- Respectful Conduct: Client agrees that being rude to cleaners or making them feel uncomfortable is grounds for immediate termination of services.
- Discretionary Termination: Just Taintless LLC reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the Client is deemed difficult or uncooperative at the Company’s discretion.
6. Pricing and Payment
- Pricing: Service prices are as quoted during the booking process. Prices are subject to change due to inflation, minimum wage increases, or changes in the country’s economy.
- Price Adjustment Notice: In the event of a price increase, Clients will be notified no less than one month before the first increase is reflected on their bill.
- Toilet Brush Requirement: Clients are required to provide a toilet brush for each toilet located in their homes. Failure to do so will result in an additional charge for the toilet brush provided and used by Just Taintless LLC.
7. Site Assessment and Safety
- Site Assessment: A thorough site assessment will be conducted prior to the commencement of any work to identify hazards and develop a safety plan.
- Health and Safety Protocols:
- Just Taintless LLC prioritizes the health and safety of both clients and cleaners.
- Cleaners may wear personal protective equipment (PPE) based on health concerns.
- Clients are required to provide a safe working environment, including running water, electricity, and proper ventilation.
- If a home presents unsanitary or hazardous conditions (e.g., excessive mold, biohazards, or infestations), services may be refused or additional charges may apply for specialty cleaning.
8. Termination
- Client-Initiated Termination: Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. The Client must pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.
- Company-Initiated Termination: Just Taintless LLC reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately if:
- The site is deemed too hazardous to ensure the safety of its employees.
- Hazardous waste or materials are discovered on the property that were not disclosed during the initial site assessment.
- Residents are present during the cleaning process in areas deemed hazardous.
- Payment for Terminated Services: In cases where Just Taintless LLC terminates services due to undisclosed hazardous conditions or the presence of hazardous materials, the Client is responsible for payment for all services rendered up to the point of termination, including any additional costs incurred for safety measures or emergency responses.
- No Refund or Rescheduling: If the site is deemed hazardous and services are terminated as a result, no refund or rescheduling of services will be issued.
9. Booking Changes and Cancellations
- Changes: Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for both cancellations and rescheduling.
- Rescheduling Availability: Rescheduling is subject to availability, and Just Taintless LLC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes.
- Cancellation Fee: If the Client cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 100% of the initial cleaning fee will be charged.
- Rescheduling Fee: If the Client reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice, a rescheduling fee of $50 will be charged.
- Company’s Right to Reschedule: Just Taintless LLC reserves the right to reschedule a Client’s appointment in cases of unforeseen circumstances with less than 24 hours’ notice. The Client will be promptly notified, and a future date will be selected.
- Client Notification: If Just Taintless LLC is unable to reach the Client in cases of unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be notified via email or text message. The Client will have the opportunity to choose a future date for the cleaning service.
10. Arrival and Cleaning Time
- Arrival and Cleaning Time: The arrival, cleaning, and end times are not guaranteed. Cleaners may arrive within the designated window, but cleaning times may vary due to additional tasks or unforeseen circumstances, which may result in cleaners leaving later than expected. The estimated time provided is for guidance only and should not be solely relied upon.
- Notification: Cleaners will notify clients upon their arrival and departure from the premises.
- Specific Window Time: If clients have specific arrival and departure time preferences for cleaners, these must be communicated during the booking process.
- Natural Factors: Factors such as traffic and unforeseen circumstances may cause delays in arrival time. Clients are advised to consider these factors when scheduling appointments.
- Estimated Cleaning Time: The booking time advertised on the booking page is an average time for the length of cleaning. Actual cleaning times may vary due to several factors, including the condition of the premises and the specific cleaning tasks required.
11. Initial Clean Recommendation
- Initial Clean Recommendation: Just Taintless LLC recommends that all first-time clients book their initial clean as a deep clean. This ensures comprehensive cleaning and helps to prevent additional charges upon arrival at your premises.
- Subsequent Cleans: Subsequent cleaning appointments are considered upkeep cleanings to maintain the cleanliness achieved during the initial deep clean.
12. Eco-Friendly Products
- Product Use: Just Taintless LLC does not use eco-friendly products by default.
- Client-Provided Products: If a client would like eco-friendly products to be used, they must notify the Company at the time of booking and provide such products on the day of the cleaning. If no products are provided, the Company will continue to use their standard products.
- Cleaning Effectiveness: In the event that a client provides their own cleaning products, the cleaning may not be as thorough as it would be if the Company’s products are used. For best results, Just Taintless LLC recommends using the Company’s products.
13. Reoccurring Services and Discounts
- Loss of Discount Rights: If clients do not uphold their responsibility by maintaining their regular cleaning schedule, they relinquish the rights to discounted rates and will be charged the regular price for all future cleanings unless communicated with Just Taintless LLC’s sales team.
- Requalification for Discounts: Clients who wish to qualify for discounts again must rebook their cleaning services, clearly stating their desire to be on the weekly, biweekly, or monthly plan.
- Client Responsibility: Clients must adhere to the agreed-upon cleaning schedule to maintain eligibility for discounted rates.
- Preventing Abuse: These discounts are designed to reward regular clients and prevent abuse of the weekly, biweekly, and monthly discount structure.
14. Amendments and Governing Law
- Insurance and Liability:
- Just Taintless LLC is fully licensed and insured. However, certain limitations apply.
- The company’s insurance covers accidental damage caused by cleaners only if reported within 24 hours.
- The company is not responsible for injuries sustained by clients or third parties on-site during cleaning.
- Clients should ensure valuables and breakable items are stored safely before cleaning.
- Amendments: Just Taintless LLC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, which will become effective upon posting on the Company’s website or through direct communication.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Connecticut. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in the courts of Connecticut.
